Pink hands clutched and tangled between another.

Chain

I have a chain around my heart,

And shackles and cuffs.

It tightens in the morning,

It tightens in the evening.

It tightens when I see you,

It tightens when I don’t.

And clenching and squeezing,

Painfully hurt.

Only opened by the key of happiness,

But my god, happiness is so fleeting.

And I’m here drowning,

In my own tears.
